Does this Campfire give off any heat? Yes, the gas fire pit is rated at 18,200 BTU's. It is just right for camping. Warm enough to take the chill out of the night air, but not so hot that your can't sit close.

How big is the Propane Campfire? It is 9 inches high, and 12 1/2 inches in diameter with the lid on. It is 8 inches high with the lid off. This portable fire pit weighs only 15.2 pounds and packs easily in your motorhome, travel trailer, toyhauler or recreational vehicle.

How long will the Propane Campfire run on on a 20lb tank(bottle)? The campfire will burn for over 18 hours on one tank of propane. With the fully adjustable flame height, it will last even longer with a lesser flame.

Is it safe to use this fire in the forest? Yes, when kept at least 6 feet from combustible materials, this propane campfire complies with Stage 1 and Stage 2 USDA Forest Service Regulations.
